What I Was Doing at Zaza's School All Week Long
Every child in grades K through 6 has been a part of this playground-wrapping mural project.
The light was changeable and mostly squintingly harsh (it was sun-burn-hot on Monday, cold and drizzly on Tuesday, overcast at all other times), the kids were usually stacked in two layers, painting one above the other, elbow to elbow at times... but all in all it was a remarkable project to observe and record.
Best of all: Aliza checking in with me throughout the day, and being able to join her for lunch and snack when the mural schedule allowed.
Now I just have to color-correct and edit hundreds of photos, and cram them into a reasonably affordable book to be sold at the official 'unveiling' of the mural at the end of the month.
Summer can't get here soon enough.
